We have chosen this set of Japanese Iwasaki 100mm files from our favourite 3 to get you started. One fine round, one medium half round and one medium flat, working with the grain, with minimal pressure and on the push stroke, these are a useful and compact addition to anybody’s tool kit. The round file has unique spiral teeth to leave a beautifully smooth surface when shaping and on progressive curves. The medium flat milled tooth file, is toothed on both faces , the medium half round is toothed on the convex face only and both have safe edges well suited to the initial shaping of smaller pieces.
